I wrote a book about my experiences with B12

Hi, I just want to say thanks to this forum - it saved my life a few years ago when I knew my body was shutting down yet the GP's were telling me everything was normal and I 'just had ME live with it'.

Writing helped me, when I was well enough, and my story is now out for pre-order. I write about how I found this group, and the massive difference B12 had on my health, and that people are still struggling.

So just sharing the link, in case my story makes people feel less alone. I try to describe the symptoms and the emotional side of being ill and being ignored, how I got to SI.

I have reduced my B12 to very two weeks now.

The book is called Running Through the Dark, by Jen Scotney, and is out with Vertebrate Publishing.

Fabulous! Well done you. I'm in a similar position of considering writing a book (about another life experience). Even if just for my own self-help, so I'll take this as a sign to get writing. Congrats!

Thanks. Many months I couldn’t write. Wonder if I would remember how bad my symptoms were if I hadn’t written when I could though.

Exactly. I doubt that you would.

Sometimes I read entries from my old diaries in horror - seems like it's happening to someone else.

This book could help so many people out there - so glad you managed to write it.

Hi Jen , it looks great. I got inthralled by the taster bit I read so will definitely be buying it. Well done. Any idea if it will be available on Kindle or Talking Books? I struggle with page turning.

this is fantastic! Thanks for doing this. It might be a great way for people who need help with b12 but are lost in the neglect to find help and hope.

I dearly love this forum and all those who contribute be it with questions or answers, requests for emotional support and more. It all has and still does help me along my journey to this day!

For those that can, please donate to PAS if even just a small amount annually.
