Collected my usual prescription this morning and, for the first time ever, it included a packet of five Hydroxocobalamin 1mg in 1ml solution for injection. My prescription does include this and I used to get one injection every 10 weeks until my clinic refused, saying that, as I SI EOD, they did not want to give my injections because if anything went wrong they would carry the blame! So with this change-around I am gob-smacked. Has there been a more general NHS policy change or is this just my GP practice? I live in Scotland by the way where some things are different to England, Wales and Northern Ireland! 🙂

I get Hydroxocobalamin ampoules on NHS prescription but only because I "kicked off" with a complaint and I think they wanted to shut me up 😂 I get 55 vials per prescription and it gives me such satisfaction to collect that brown bag each time! Hopefully it will continue for you!
