I was just wondering if anyone else gets eaten alive by insects or has noticed that they get bitten more or less once their B12 is optimised. I must admit to being one of those people who get bitten constantly. As I type I’ve been out for a run and forgot my baseball cap, my head now resembles something written in Brail. I’ve read conflicting things about B12 and how attractive or unattractive it makes you to insects. I would hope it makes you less prone to be bitten but it doesn’t seem to be the case for me. As I say just wondering.

Anyone notice a link between B12 and insect bites?
I don’t know if it’s a b12 deficiency problem but I do remember being told years ago to supplement with b vitamins If prone to Insect bites.Im terrible about 4 weeks ago I got bitten at the lakeside by something nasty and I had pus filled bites that’s burst when I scratched .right under my arm pit near back of it that’s left me some nasty scarring too.
I’ve just bought a watch that is a mossie and insect repellant,it’s really lovely and lightweight,I had to try something as every year my life is hell with insect bites so fingers crossed it’ll help the next time I go a walk to the lakes.
Citronella essential oil good to dab on clothes too. And dont wear yellow !
Ate they definitely insect bites?
The lumps o get around my hairline and neck look like natural bites but ate caused by b12 from the inside.
If you use a roll on insect repellant tou will soon know. They work. My husband uses one for the allotment. Lots of bugs around at present.
I’ve only just noticed that after all summer so far outdoors I’ve not had as much as one insect bite........very unusual for me who usually gets bitten on a regular basis. I’ve been SI over 12 months now.
