Breast tenderness?

Anyone suffer breast pain/tenderness after starting EOD B12 injections. Five weeks in and suddenly this morning my boobs are so painful. I’m 64 and through menopause, so not sure if it’s hormone related. Could it be nerves firing up and causing the pain.

Hi, you know, I can't remember specifically, it was several years ago now.

However, I do remember many different pains in varying locations.

Nerves are strange things ! I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but when I self inject, I sometimes feel pain in the opposite shoulder as well as the one I've just injected into ! 🤔

See how it goes, but as always, if your symptoms persist, have it checked up at the doctors.

Hope you feel better soon ! x

Intermittent stabbing breast pain/ tenderness was what actually took me to see my Gp following which I was diagnosed Pernicious Anaemia. I started on EOD injections approximately 50 in total with a 4 week gap in-between. Eventually the breast pains subsided. I now only experience the odd episode of breast discomfort and self inject EOD (I find that is the best regime for me). I was 60 when diagnosed. I also think taking the recommended supplements helped.

Good Luck

I had horrendous breast pain on the left only. Aches, stabbing, tenderness...I also developed an inverted nipple.I had a mammogram (oh joy) and full scan and there is no problem. The specialist suggested it was breast weight related.

As the size hasn't reduced, there was no cause found, and all pain has stopped think it was B12 wakeup related.
