It's probably an odd question but I have had breast implants for 15 years and am now looking at getting them removed. I was watching videos on youtube and realised that a lot of the women explanting have developed auto-immune conditions since they had implants.
Four months after mine were done I developed PMDD (severe PMT X1000) and I can remember googling at the time to see if my implants were the cause but nothing came up back then, in recent years I developed an underactive thyroid and more recently functional B12. I think my Dad had PA but my B12 levels were in range despite the fact I had horrendous symptoms which have massively improved with using B12. They return if I miss a day.
I've also had a lot of other illnesses in between in the past 15 years.
I might be connecting the wrong dots here but I was wondering WHY we are all so B12 deficient and appreciate it's different for everyone but just wondered whether my implants were part of the B12 picture for me. I know I am probably in the minority but I wondered if there was a link at all.

In fact, both the chemical toxicity in silicone implants and the biotoxicity often present in saline implants can trigger an autoimmune reaction in the body that can result in illness, including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Those that have a genetic susceptibility to autoimmune diseases will be at particular risk for developing symptoms after being exposed to the toxins present in breast implants.
Since you think your dad has PA. It could be you were predisposed to having it by heredity. And thyroiditis I believe is linked to PA.
I have them and have for about 15 years also. I have been debating removing them after reading a lot about autoimmune issues and implants. I can't say the symptoms came on quick after them, but if you think there is a link and you would be okay getting rid of them, do it!
I have them too but difficult to tell. I put it down to a Mirena coil around similar timing. Also had my dental amalgam fillings removed and was able to lower my meds. Possibly a combination
