Daughters Bloods again, sorry

So following up on saga, after trying to get her injection earlier than 3 months, due 28th this month. After GP appointment and thinking the discussion was mute we got her injection a week early. Girl doing it said so, Doc's put as early as 8 weeks if needed. 8 weeks yes please was the response, so sort of result, for now considering that a win if indeed it happens.

Think I might of ruffled a few feathers, been trying to get info on which protocols/guidelines the ICB for here Cheshire and Merseyside asked for which protocols and guidelines are in place for prescribing , and now there seems to be a lot more messaging between departments going on in the Headquarters, seems no one is sure so they are all trying to find out before they share, 🤦 couldn't make it up.

My ICB is consulting on implementation of the guidelines which will take some time. No idea how much time.

Good that you have asked the questions. Shame they are unaware of the "correct" answers:

let's hope that getting your daughter the individual treatment she needs remains the focus.

Glad you are feather-ruffling on her behalf !
