Hello all.

I was due to have appt with CFS clinic/Endo last week. This was cancelled and I'm now waiting for more clinic dates to be released. I have a feeling this may be a long wait.

If I was to consider private treatment, is it an endocrinologist that I should see for possible b12 deficiency? Is this very expensive? I have had a look online but can only find the initial consultation fee (between 300 and 500) and I know there will be additional tests and then the treatment itself if they agree to it which I imagine all adds up!

Would I be best looking into SI without a diagnosis? I would be a bit nervous to do on my own first time. I'd prefer to go down that route after I'd started with a doctor. Has anyone else gone straight to SI?

I feel disappointed as I was hoping to start after appt last week and was looking forward to the possibility of a slightly more normal summer!

Thank you 😊

Hello,

I’ll private message you with a highly regarded B12 (& iron) specialist. I haven’t personally consulted with him but my ex has twice - once for an iron infusion and then to diagnose his B12 deficiency.
