Is there any difference between these 2 products, apart from the fact that one is available and the other sold out?

prnt.sc/yJRttE79C1vd does this work?

Yes, thank you. Exactly as wedgewood said. Several people have switched to cyanocobalamin because it was easier to obtain.

I had ‘no reaction’ in that sometimes changing brands people can react to the additives. Especially, if you have coeliac, lactose, histamine problems.

Brain fog is ‘character building’. In mid-conversation, people have to bear with me. Sometimes, they ask, who I am texting, Oh myself. I receive a funny look and then just ask them to continue talking. We all have our own weird ways. 😘

I text myself. . . . . . . regularly

I don't because I don't have a mobile phone - but I write notes to self on calendar, in diary, lists on bits of paper or post-its and even on a blackboard painted on the interior of my front door.

Then all I have to do is find them !

The top one is B12 Cynocobalamin, which is no longer used widely in U.K. . It is the cheapest Cobalamin . It had been superceded by the second item namely -B12 DEPOT -Hydroxocobalamin . This is the form of B12 injection used now by the NHS , and is reputed to stat in the system longer . Hydroxocobalamin is more expensive than Cynocobalamin. Cynocobalamin must not be used by patients with the eye disease called Lebers .

thank you wedgewood. Duh!!!! I must have read every letter on that picture 200 times, but missed that. And here I thought my brain fog was getting better.....

Thank you so much, I could have stared at that for another year and never spotted that. So, if we have a problem getting the stuff, should we try for cyano, or maybe methyl or what other options are there for us?

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING

Now the UK has left the EU, there is a limit to the value of goods that we are allowed to import from the EU , before tax is due. Tax is applicable if the value exceeds £135 ( roughly €158.00 ) Value does include delivery cost ! But please look everything up , because things might change . On top of that, Royal Mail charge £8.00 for processing it. .I’m not sure how much the tax is - so look it up please. A member was quite shocked at what she had to pay when she exceeded the limit . I believe that even the cost of delivery is included in the total . It was when I ordered something from the USA .

Best wishes.

Thank you wedgewood, this is where I bought in the past and am searching now, but a lot are out of stock so I want to keep my options open. maybe get stuff with a very long shelf life, like methyl ( comes in powder form, and has a shelf life of over 2 years if you do not mix it with saline. ) once mixed I believe it's 30 days, so it would be good to keep in case other stuff becomes difficult to get hold of. I know there is no way I want to be without it for even one day

Yes , it’s worth investing in some powdered Methyl. One never knows what’s going to happen - the world is in such a mess at the moment .

Wedgewood,

I tried to order from Versandapo on Friday and was unable to do so as they require an address in Germany at the first step of the checkout process. I couldn’t find any way round this. There was no option to select UK and continue. There was no obvious option for an English version of the site either.

I also tried Arzneiprivat but they do not ship to the UK

I ended up ordering from Apohealth which was very easy and in English all the way through the process. No issues with being UK.

You need to register with versandapo . and make sure you put in U.K. as your country on the drop down list BEFORE you put in the rest of your address They DO ship to U.K.

Got it! Need to register an account before checkout process and then sign in. Thanks.

too true. And can I use this as the saline? prnt.sc/sSn0EULxywSv

All over where ever I look, even in Germany it's the same kind of stuff

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply to totallyFrustrated

That type of saline is on NO ACCOUNT to be used for injections . Saline for injections can only be obtained in U.K. with a doctor’s prescription .

You can get it from German online pharmacies in 20x 10 ml ampoules It’s called

NaCl 0.9% Use the reference number 02737756

also in 20 x 5 ml ampoules ref no

03040980

Made by Braun

This is the only type of saline for injections DO NOT USE ANY OTHER TYPE — IMPORTANT!!! I assume you want it to rehydrate some powdered Methylcobalamin!

Hi, yes, one is Cyano and the better one is Hydroxo. I’ve used both but prefer the hydroxo. The Cyano has traces of cyanide which they say is too little to cause concern but you never know. Best to use Hydroxo if you can get it. Its effects last longer too.

Best wishes
