Just tried to order my hydroxycobalamin on the apohealth.de site and they are all sold out. Was looking at amazon.de and they don't see to stock the Panpharma brand.
Have looked at a couple of other website but they all seem to be cyanocobalamin and I can't seem to get them in English, so really unsure of what I would be buying! Eek!
Can anyone point me in the direction of a website that currently has stock of hydroxycobalamin and in English please!
Many thanks.

Hi JanCymru, I have recently recrecieved B12 hydrox from Versandapo. de . I usually buy Panpharma but they are out of stock at the moment so I had to order Hevert instead. The only downside is the Hevert are in 2ml ampoules not 1ml , the 2ml is equal to 100ug which is just the same as Panpharma it just takes a little longer to inject but I didn't find that a problem. Good luck
I’m having to obtain hydroxo from overseas because of the current US shortage. How does one open the glass ampoules and load the b12 serum into the syringe? I’ve only ever loaded from a multi-use vial. Thanks for your help!
Also: about how long are the ampoules good before they expire? Trying to figure out how many to order since I inject weekly.
You open the ampoules by braking the tip away from you, white dot on the ampoule facing to you. You'll need a long needle (at least an inch I believe) to load the serum into the syringe. Afterwards you can chance to the needle you use to inject with.
When the ampoules come fresh out of the factory they are good for about 3 years, but you might get ampoules from pharmacies that already have been stored for a while. When I order I will often get packages that have to be used up within 9 months. Hope that helps!
Thank you for your help! Nervous about this new process of obtaining my medication outside of the US for the first time and a new way of loading the syringe.
One more thing: any preference apo health over Amazon in terms of expiration dates? Apo appears a bit cheaper for the 100 pack
Hi meg-woo, as Asselchen has said the ampoules are snapped open - there is usually a 'neck' to the ampoule and there is a white dot which indicates the optimum breaking area. I have an ampoule snapper tool - they are available very cheaply on Amazon. Saves any possibility of cutting yourself. I've found it very useful. Ebay has them too. About £3.00 or thereabouts. And yes, you will need longer needles to draw up from the ampoule, swapping the needle then to a shorter one for SI. And the boxes of ampoules all have dates on them, so are good for ages. Check and rotate them if you happen to have boxes with different dates.
Thanks so much for the reply. I’m going to get an ampoule snapper per your advice. I use 29x1 needles for IM injections so I already have those as well as needles for drawing up the solution. I can inject the German hydroxo in the muscle correct? I hadn’t even thought about asking that question. I’m assuming that’s okay?
I store Actavis multi-use vial wrapped in foil in the fridge. Can I also refrigerate the ampoules?
Cant believe I’ve found myself in this situation but here I am. I appreciate all advice received on this forum
Hi again meg-woo, if you are used to IM injections I believe you will be ok to inject the German hydroxy as you are experienced in IM. If you do get a shorter, finer needle you will be able SI sub cutaneously which as it is in to fat works just as well. As to refrigeration the single use ampoules do not require refrigeration - I store mine in their box, in a wardrobe which is neither hot or cold, but definitely in the dark which I think is optimum. I think extremes of temperature might be unwise. Often the box will indicate storage too. Hope that helps.
Glad to be of some help. Many other forum members (Narwhal, sleepybunny, clivealive, Technoid, wedgewood and many others to name but a few), are hugely experienced in this field, look at their profiles and posts, they have a wealth of information, advice and support that is second to none. I've found support and the confidence to SI from their posts.
Thanks! I’ve been on this forum for several years but have done so well for the past few years that I haven’t needed much advice until now. Thankful for this forum and the members kind enough to help
