hi I have several boxes of b12 ampoules which are best before 02/24. Is it safe to carry on using it? Thanks.

That date means that the ampoules are in good condition up to the end of the month given . After that , they will start to lose potency . This is only valid if they have been kept in the dark and at a temperature not exceeding 25celsius. ( but not frozen)

Thanks, they have been in the dark but I don’t think I’ll keep them much longer

I know it seems a terrible shame to dispose of them . You could do yourself no actual harm if you used them after expiry , but it’s important that they are full strength .

They won't do you any harm, but might not do any good either if used after their date. I had a batch last year that started to lose potency months before the best before. They were short dated when received. I suspect that they hadn't been kept in optimum conditions before I got them.

Months out of date and they’ve been fine other than symptoms maybe returning very slightly earlier.
