Saving Posts?

How can I save post threads? I have saved some but then there was a ‘Save’ button at the top of the thread. I can’t see this button on a thread I want to save. Can any of you seasoned posters explain. 🙂

Hi Jillymo, my problem is not locating old saved threads but saving new ones. The saved threads should be accessible by clicking on the green ‘Home’ button at the top left of any thread page you’re on. The forum layout I find is not very user friendly. Hope you find your old favourites. 🙂

Thanks Helvella, I spotted it. I was looking for it at the top 😏, plain as day now, thanks. Another confusion I got into was probably looking around MY own posts where now I think it doesn’t appear because I can find my posts in my profile along with replies I make to other contributors post. If at first you don’t succeed read the instructions OR ask a friendly contributor. 🙂🙏

Do you not see the [ Save post ] option under the original post?

I have found my saved posts with a little help from B12again but can no longer find how to save a post. 🤔

I am sure I used to click on more under posts where it gave an option to save. Am I going do dally or what ? Dont answer that question. 😵‍💫

Are you not seeing the Save post option as shown in my reply above?

No. 🤔

I have Reply, then the heart, Report and More - if I click on more it says edit, delete and copy link.

I think I have lost the plot.

Ok, so go to to the top of the page where B12again’s post starts

Scroll to the end of his post where it says: written by. You’ll see the save option just under that

I have got it - Thank you.

Strange because it wasn't there yesterday ! Or was it ?

I must have had my blonde head on. 🤣

Cheers.

Hi Jilly, I’ve copied in an earlier response I made in this thread below. I got confused and was looking for the ’Save’ button under a post I had made (as opposed to a response to someone else’s post) to the forum. Below was a response to my realisation. 🙂 Thanks for all your help folks. 👍

Lets just put it down to a brainfog day. 🤪

What a pair of doughnuts. 🍩. I looked and looked and I would be damned if I could find it. 😂

It's easy once you know how !

Lots of laughs. For years now, I have never investigated this, nor have I seen the "save post" button which is clear as day! I have been taking screen shots of posts I don't want to lose, and putting them in a B12 file on my computer. This is WAY easier. I just tried it. It works!

Happy holidays to all who celebrate!
