Asking for a friend who recently discovered some liquid B12 in the fridge ! Metabolics - Methyl - and yes it has been opened. BB date was some time ago - oops ! Is it still safe to use ? - does it lose effectiveness ? I'm a shocker for ignoring dates but would hate to give bad advice to a friend.... !

Thank you for reading... 🌻

I would personally discard it especially if left open.

I agree with all of the above. You cannot go by the best by date - that is for unopened bottles. Once opened it needs to be kept in the fridge and used within a month, or some such timespan, so nothing for it, BIN

The Center for Disease Control in USA recommends that any multi-use vial be discarded after 28 days from the first use. That is what I follow.

Yep, have to say I'd discard. Never know what's in there, bad stuff, mold, old no longer effective, or who knows what else. Agree with others on this. I'd toss it. MJat

Don't use it. It is worthless.

Methylcobalamin has a short shelf life. It is not worth the risk.
