One sided tingling

Has anyone experienced one sided tingling? The left side of my body started tingling when I switched from methyl to hydroxy. No tingling felt with methyl. I mainly feel it lying in bed, it's strongest in my leg and buttock. Since switching from Dr Myhill's 30ml vial to Pascoe ampules the intensity of the tingling has lessened slightly. it feels like pent up energy vibrating in me, and it is making me feel agitated. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks

Yep, I had it before diagnosis and thought I was having a stroke! Went to A&E, had scans but nothing was found. It still happens occasionally, usually if I am tired or unwell.

Hi Sunnysidooop,

You have changed from methyl to hydroxy. It is highly likely that you may be reacting to the different formula or additives. So, best thing to do, if it is 1 mg/ml, then you experiment.

So, I do not know how frequently you are injecting. Plan :-

1) For a week or 2, use common sense, Drop down to only injecting 0.4 ml. Note how quickly your body reacts. The left side tingling. Whether it is minutes, hours, following day.

2) If after 2 weeks or whatever, consider increasing to 0.6 ml. Again use Common Sense. If a quicker Adverse Reaction, Then Drop back down to 0.4 ml.

We actually only NEED approximately 0.24 ml. The rest is excreted.

By doing the above, you are Monitoring your own Health. The Approach is similar to Diabetes where people Check their own blood sugars and Adjust their dose of Medication accordingly.

However, the tingling may be the body healing even more but that depends on :-

1) how long you have been deficient .

2) how long you have been receiving treatment.

3) The severity of symptoms.

It is really helpful when people fill in Bios and I can understand why it takes so long for diagnosis. I worked with a private dietician, she was really quite taken aback because I was able to state, for example :-

At 2.00 p.m. on 14 December 2020, this happened.

At 3.06 p.m. on 15 January 2021, I had an adverse reaction to 20 mg of a Granny Smith Apple, I had nerve pain down my right arm, I became dizzy and had nasal decongestion. To counter act this at 3.15 p.m. I took some Anti-Histamine tablets.

You learn to be your own doctor, nurse by recording stuff. Some of us, may have Histamine Intolerance. Just read the first paragraph.

Best of luck.

It’s interesting to note what Narwhal wrote about the possibility of the body healing itself. Dr Chandy in his excellent book ‘B12 Deficiency in Clinical Practice’ calls this “Reversing Out”. An example could be like when we are out in the very cold our fingers become freezing and numb. When we get into the warmth and they start to warm up pain can be felt in the fingers during this process as the nerves come back to life. Dr Chandy’s book is well worth getting. On Amazon UK it’s just £6.
