At least I think so.

I have started to experience the pins and needles of Paresthesia. I have never experienced this symptom before. It does not worry me as it is likely the result of my healing with effective self treatment and it is reasonable to assume it will be resolved. I did make the error of assuming Paresthesia was the same as Peripheral Nephropathy due to following the same error made by medics.

Could well be the pins and needles were masked by the pain of Peripheral Nephropathy

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Peripheral Nephropathy happens when the nerves that are located outside of the brain and spinal cord (peripheral nerves) are damaged. This condition often causes weakness, numbness and pain, usually in the hands and feet. It also can affect other areas and body functions including digestion and urination."

I did not understand that it was known to affect digestion and urination. That seems to be resolving for me although seems to worsen if I make any change in my B12 injections. Both increasing or decreasing, then it settles out.

I was diagnosed with gastritis and given some medication for that. After repeatedly asking why that diagnosis was made and getting evasive answers I read about it and determined that the diagnosis was given to me and no diagnosis was made. I wrote the physician in charge and said I wanted to discontinue the medication and he stated "If you wanted to do that you could take an over the counter medication for two weeks." Guessing that met his needs somehow although it was not rational. I did the two weeks with no effects. Maybe he thinks it was titration which it was not as it was the same medication and dosage.

Guessing I was given the diagnosis as it is assumed to "go along with PA" I never experienced the symptoms of gastritis although did have digestive issues due to being B12 deficient and then when successfully self treating with supplements. Again they seem to be headed to resolution.
