Oh yes, it used to happen to me all the time. I have had 911 emergency take me to the ER quite a few times thinking I was having a heart attack. Now I have had a heart attack in the past along with double bypass surgery, so any pain in my upper abdomen/chest area would send me into a panic. It still makes me nervous, but I was treated for depression and now have to internal tools to help me deal with the terrors. Aggressive B12 injections, twice/day, has also helped my symptoms and reduced the gastritis, GI bleeds, and iron loss episodes. Not everyone needs such a frequent injection frequency, but don't be afraid to try if your current injection routine is not helping symptoms improve. Good luck to you.

Thanks so much! Already taking Nifedipin 20 twice a day and bisopropol because of hypertension. So could come from a heart problem. Had surgery on carotid artery’s and stents in legs. My condition is quite weird. My father had double bypass aged 70 and vitiligo. He was a well known violinist. Got so nervous aging. And I feel I’m getting the same.

Oh my Sissiotto

Such a horrible experience but hopefully, you will soon feel better.

If I let my B12 drop (to some unknown internal level) I experience panic attacks and it is a horrible, horrible feeling.

So like scnuke says dont be afraid to up your B12 intake, you cannot overdose. I have found a cocktail works best for me so hydroxocobalamin by injection daily, B complex in a liquid and mehtylcobalamin tablet - like advertising it may be that only 10% works but dont know which 90% doesnt work!!

All I know is that this cocktail keeps my panic attacks and low mood away, and that's all that matters.

Keep positive and let us know how you get on.

I’m SI twice week cyanocobalamin 1000 ug. Taking vit d magnésium and vit b1-2-6 folic acid. Since 4weeks now. Have neuropathic and gastric issues. Not feeling really to improve. As I have severe arthritis am taking tramadol. I think this makes my condition worse but can’t move without.

Would so much like to fly to AUS Xmas as my son lives there but I have no courage to make the step.

Thanks a lot for your advices and your empathy.

I agree. Try increasing your b-12 dose. I also have to do daily.

I was on tramedol due to sciatica and back pain which resolved after 1.5 years of daily injections of b12. No longer ever need tramedol. Not to say the same will work for you but it just might!

My back pains are less since b12 injections and I’m walking easier. Had surgery lumbar and spinal stenosis. Worsening scoliosis. But paresthesias are still very present and these horrible panic attacks . Had already 3 different opinions from several neurosurgeons. Got addicted to tramadol. Perhaps tramadol gives me all these terrible feelings.

I have experienced symptoms similar to panic attacks. They some times happen for a short while when I change my regiment.

I am not a fan of such methods but I find relief by squeezing my ring finger on each hand. Why is not known. It is not crazy if it works🙂
