Adenosyl/Hydroxy B12 LIQUID….could it benefit me in any way along with my usual cyano injections.

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing ok. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if hydroxy liquid may benefit me as far as brain function. I do still get a little foggy sometimes and the memory isn’t the best. I’m on cyano injections and that’s really the only area I still have an issue with. That and blurry vision from time to time. Thanks in advance😊

Hi Plucky1976, you could try oral supplements but many cannot absorb them.

Alternatively, you could try increasing the frequency of cyano injections, or buy hydroxy from Germany or the US (assuming customs will let it through). I sent you a chat message.

If you can get a prescription from your doctor, you could try this pharmacy (but I haven't used them personally or know anyone that has) northwestpharmacy.com/produ...

Also important to check folate status , iron, Vit D, and check for thyroid issues. These are most common causes of brain fog I know of, though of course there are others.

Thank you for your reply. I have been on Cyano injections for almost 6 years now I believe. Just this year I have decreased from 3 injections per week. My two issues are a ton better than they were in the beginning but I thought maybe I would try the liquid instead of upping the injections again. So tired of them! However, if I don’t find a difference with the liquid then I’m going to have to ramp them back up I guess.

If you have recently reduced the frequency, it can take some time for the body to adjust to the lower levels of supplementation. I have found that the key to B12 supplementation is consistency and whenever I reduce the frequency or the dose, I feel the symptoms for some time (usually a week or so, depending on the amount of decrease) and then the symptoms begin to improve, as the body stabilises on the lower dose. Perhaps this is what is happening to you.

No one knows for sure. I benefited from sublingual B12. Bioactive B12 sold by Nature Provides. Is a liquid with methocabulamin and adenosyl cobalamin.

I have PA ( diagnosed by a positive Intrinsic Factor Antibody test ) I tried spraying B12 methylcobalamin into my nose and under my tongue ,The skin in the nose and under the tongue is said to be able to absorb the large B12 molecule but it didn’t help me at all . Some P.A patients say that they receive benefit from this , so it is worth a try . … If it doesn’t help you , I would increase your B12 injections . Also make sure that you are receiving enough folate , Also called vitamin B9 This works together with B12 . A modest dose daily of 400mcg is good . or up your consumption of fresh vegetables , especially green leafy ones . Best wishes .

Thank you wedgewood! I took a dose yesterday and I’m not sure what exactly happened but I felt so agitated and angry. I’m almost afraid to try again lol. I just this afternoon started to calm down. Everything and anything was on my very last nerve. Hoping it was just coincidence 😳
