Review "Simple Spectrum"

I came up with the idea that maybe supplements designed for autism which is a neurological issue treated with 'behavioral science' might be better for me than a B-complex.

This was born of looking at the 'back up' for how B-complex were designed and their efficacy. It is pretty much seems like a good idea thing. Does not mean it is not a good idea. They may determine the amounts based on toxicity. Might be cost of the ingredient.

I also went with that the safety considerations would be well considered with the supplement as it is taken by children. That and the market for autism is robust and that means funding.

One supplement for autism I found contained lithium which I saw as a backdoor way to medicate.

I was working with my personal evaluation that I do not have to be exact with supplementation, only close enough and my body would be able to adjust. I was thinking the Simple Spectrum might work with my supplementation with B12 and B6. All my co-factors are ok.

I reviewed all the ingredients one by one and accounted for the B12 and B6 already used in my current supplementation of B12 and B6. I was pleased that the form P5P of B6 was used.

Taste is awful in water, juice not bad.

So the first 8 days I feel it had an effect. What it felt like to me was my body was more tired but not more fatigued. Without out my experience with supplementing I would have seen it as a negative as it made me more tired. I was also aware that I was increasing my B12 and B6 supplementation.

I feel it is a positive. I will at sometime in the future stop taking it and reevaluate. It feels like symptoms did not worsen rather my body was more able to rest and sleep which over time was very effective.

I can tell your B12 supplementation is working - your mind is racing with ideas. This happened to me. It felt wonderful after being 'stupid' for so long.

You saying I was stupid? Just kidding I am having a good laugh.

I call it being on. Before I still had the ideas but could not connect them, express them or execute them.

I go with all my ideas have value and I should honor them. Very few should be implemented.

Thank you for noticing. You are correct and that is helpful. Also good on you for having what it takes to notice.

You can see why B12 got it's reputation as a pick me up. It does if you have B12D. Shows how many people must have some form of B12D.

I was quite surprised that people who are supplementing for B12D experience a pick me up. This is contrary to the concept of 1mg every other day concept. It is what lead me to more B12 and currently higher frequency.

I meant the beauty clinics selling B12 injections saying they give you vitality. B12 did give me a massive pick up. I felt so alive and full of energy. I persuaded my brother and his wife to start taking B12. My brother hasn't noticed any difference but his wife says she can think better.

I suspect the non-medical application effects of B12 cloud the effects of the medical application of B12.

I am no expert but tend to be analytical when I read things.

From what I have experienced, starting from a very deficient B12 level, and the experience of others too is that B12 injections make you tired but relieve symptoms. For me, after 6 months the fatigue and symptoms have lessened but the tiredness persists.

From what I have read I surmise that a medical application when B12 levels are improving is that it maintains energy levels and does not induce tiredness to the same extent and keeps symptoms at bay.

From what I have read and surmise a non-medical application of B12 ( ie when B12 is at a suitable level) is that one experiences a surge in energy.

I am going to be using this simplified yardstick in my recovery

As you are analytical you might have heard "You think too much." or "You over think things." If so consider replying "It is not as hard for me as it is you." 😀

I read early on my B12D odyssey that if you supplement with B12 it will have no effect if you are not deficient.

If that is true then it becomes a matter of degree of B12D.

Hi Wiz

Yes I do think about things more than most - like why something is named, for example - I feel comfortable with reason - even if it’s an emotional reason. It helps me to remember things when they have a purpose or place. That’s probably a bit of a random rambling explanation! 😂
