Carnivore….. massive success…feeling 20 years younger and less need to SI.

Good evening every one.

Felt the need to share my successes, I was so desperate as you know.

Having extreme bloating pain in ileo- cecal area, doctor sent me for a number of tests including virtual colonoscopy😬, coeliac screening, etc etc. I knew that they wouldn’t anything thankfully.

Doc was half expecting some kind of IBD, or something more sinister.

but thankfully nothing or so I thought 2 weeks later I received a call up with cancer research letter attached to the text. Well as you can imagine my heart sank, and I thought why has this been overlook soo many times by countless gp’s that I’ve seen in the past.

A letter soon followed for my two week appointment, letter headed gynaecology/oncology, I was in a state, I had had a hysterectomy 10 years prior. Why didn’t they take the ovaries out. So they found a mass on my left ovary, WHAT my pain is on my right, have they got this wrong.

Thankfully after much praying the appointment came , I was told my risk was low….thankfully.

So at this point I’m hoping me going on a Carnivore diet will regulate my hormones which I know it does, will shrink the mass and lose the weight and also bring up my folate and b12 naturally.

I had to make sure I didn’t have haemochromatosis first which I don’t but I am a carrier for H63D .

I have lost 16lb in 2 weeks on the carnivore diet I did it to see what is causing all my symptoms, and they are all slowly disappearing, I feel absolutely fantastic and I’m never going back,

I will post my bloods within the next week for Holotc.

Much love

Jo x

I have PA and am also gluten and dairy intolerant. I eats lots of meat and meat fat. If I don't I loose weight. I think food with a lot of fibre is too difficult for my stomach to digest properly. I feel great and my cholesterol levels are very good. But I still have to take B12.

Hi Charks,

Thank you for your reply, I found this to be the case with fibre too, pain where appendix is ileo cecal-valve region, and think this is due to too much vegetation as the human has a very small cecum compared to herbivores. Which proves the case that humans are naturally carnivores by evolution not by choice, and would have consumed occasional harvest of the odd berry , fungi and green matter, but not in this crazy quantity that has been bestowed upon us, from crop farms, that have an abundance of pesticides , growth chemicals along with the plants own defence chemicals.

I’m glad you’re bloods are looking 👍 great, and sometimes you have to still SI but it’s little compromise to feel better.

Hi,

I had a gastroscopy done over eight weeks ago which didn't look too promising, they carried out biopsies. Would you believe I am still chasing the results eight weeks later ! All I get when I ring them is 'they are behind due to covid'. Grrrrr 😡

Glad you are feeling better.

Hi Jillymo,

I’m presuming this is nhs?

If it is Get in touch with Patient liaison services or PALS for short they will chase results for you, mention it is vital that I get the results asap. As you need results for another appointment, it works😉

Talk to me Jilly what was it that they found? Only if you’re comfortable with talking of course.

Hi,

What did they find ? Thats why I am chasing the results, I didn't even get to see the gastrologist ! They insisted I had the gastroscopy first then told me I would be followed up.

I posted the photo's handed me after the proceedure on here. I have a sliding hiatus hernia that has been present for years but it was the duodenum that didn't look good. I have APs ( sticky clotting blood ) and the duodenum photo was of concern to my heamatologist who has also tried chasing the results. Everything is so long winded these days you feel as if your flogging a damned horse. 💐
