You can buy them from Amazon . There are a few types . I chose a metal one which now. costs about £25.00 Mine has served me well for several years . It’s a good investment . Before i bought one , I’d had a terrible cut from the glass of the ampoule.

It’s worth every penny to avoid a bad cut .

I’m shocked to find after searching that the metal snapit ampule opener has gone up horribly in price . I found one on www,Medisave,Co,U.K. and it cost £53.00 . That’s unbelievable!. There are plastic ones which are much cheaper . That snapit design works well

yes I saw those too and was comparing price to others I’d found.

I bought a plastic one from Amazon that I've been using weekly for a couple of years now. Works well and has lasted!

Great! I bought mine on the advice given here and the reviews on Amazon. I got a very nasty cut once so I decided not to chance it. The plastic ones do cost a lot less.

I use the wrapper from the needle or syringe, wrapped around the break line, never had a glass cut, maybe a cheaper option.

Get a good one. I paid $40 for mine about a year ago on Amazon. Works great. It’s metal and sturdy. I read lots of reviews about the plastic ones not working.

I’ve used a cheap plastic one for 4 years and it’s still like new and goes in the dishwasher safely too 😊
