Is the nerve pain felt all through day long now? It seems to not leave me through out the day lately. My upper back between shoulder thighs & legs, neck and muscle twickles. The one better thing is the headaches

Hi mbhembe

Sorry to hear you are in constant pain. Nerve pain is very unpleasant as it’s a deep pain in my experience.

When I started my B12 injections I experienced a lot of deep nerve pain which after three months of injecting every other day is subsiding. I still get deep pain in my back, legs and feet but it’s not as bad as as at the beginning. I find all over heat helps - I put my electric blanket on high, heat the bed and get in - it relieves the pain - nothing else does. Once I am in bed, I turn the blanket down or off and often by the time the bed has cooled the pain has reduced/gone too.

At my recent consultation with a PA specialist he said it’s the myelin sheath being renewed and for large muscles this takes a long time.

So not being a medic but a fellow sufferer, I suspect the pain you feel is healing pain. Take care and post again if you need to “talk” or need help.
