I’m new to this app but have been struggling with chronic fatigue off and on for many years.

I find doctors quite unhelpful although well meaning.

Years ago I had a course of b12 injections which changed my life but I’m recent years it’s been harder to get them after having a break.

I am getting to feel quite desperately tired, achy, very short tempered, tingling left thigh and just really struggling to feel motivated to do anything. This is just not me but it’s crept back so imperceptibly to the point where I’m thinking of getting hold of the stuff myself and getting a nurse friend to inject me.

Can anyone recommend a source.. for both b12 injection shots and also the sharps themselves.

I understand your desperation, having been in your shoes . So many of us are up against the total ignorance of the medical Profession. I have an irreversible symptom because of delayed treatment and subsequent under treatment.

You don’t need a nurse to give you injections. , you can DIY ! honestly it’s easy ! But a nurse could instruct you. At the moment i get my B12 depot ampoules from a German Online pharmacy -Do not worth these pharmacies are strictly controlled by the German health authorities ( Jawohl!)

Please read what i’ve just written to

roddogsbody for you to get the B12 ampoules ( Hydroxocobalamin) Can be injected by I.M or sub-cut

Self inject into outer 1/3 of thigh ( ( Vastus Lateralis muscle for I.M. Tummy fat or front of thigh for Sub -cut ,

I get my B12 depot ampoules ( you must quote depot , because that means you get Hydroxocobalamin B12 , which is what the NHS uses . You can use the reference numbers to make it easier .

apohealth.de. is the German online pharmacy that I use

I get syringes , needles , swabs and sharps bins from. medisave.co.U.K.

For Intra Muscular Withdrawing needle 21G x 1 1/2 inches

Injection needle 25G x 1inch

For Subcutaneous injections 30G x 1/2 inch

I use a 2ml syringe which makes sure that I get every drop out of a 1ml ampoule. found I couldn’t get every drop out of the ampoule with a 1ml syringe .

Hi,

As a last resort, I turned to treating myself as NHS refused to treat me.

If you feel like you'd like to have another go at getting treatment from your GP, there might be something useful in these links below.

Hi

I was having B12 injections before covid but then they were stopped due to covid. I then went on B12 Sublingual tablets which absorb into the system from under the tongue. I was feeling completely drained when the injections stopped but now my B12 has gone from 220 to 625 and i feel sooo much better!!..i get my B12 Sublinguals from a company called 'Just Vitamins' and they are the ''Methylcobalamin' which turn to Hydroxycobalamin when in the system. I hope this helps i know how you feel.
