I came to this when I came to the understand my body and my neurological system did well considering and I wanted to stop thinking in terms of they failed me.

Then I came to my body is all about dealing with different environments and different nutritional intakes. A protection of the species thing.

As a soil scientist can tell you the mineral content of the soil is very varied across the globe and this affects plants which in turn affect any animal products. . A tomato in one part of the world is not the same in another.

This lead me to the concept that I do not have to have a perfect supplement routine or nutritional intake. I only have to come close enough that my body can adjust and it will. In range so to speak.

I do have to watch very carefully that I do not overload my body with supplements to which it can not adjust. Understanding my body to no fault of it or myself is not able to adjust without supplements for reasons unknown.

No way in the world could I have come to these thoughts when in the throes of deficiency and trying to discover what should be done.

I liked this. I too try and research any supplements I take. I look for what is the most bioavailable formula (research this on NIH), can they be toxic (chronically or acute toxicity), and what is the proper dose.

I got my b12 in some kind of control and level before adding b1 so that, yes, my body could adjust and so I could differentiate the effect.

I add them one at a time to enable me to determine the effect.

I only take what I know/think I need.
