I was dreading going to the Drs as a nurse practitioner had text telling me I’d need a blood test to look at my B12 levels before my next injection. New Drs ! . Which would have been 12 weeks since last one I have 8 weekly . I made appointment after finding letter from consultant saying 8 weekly due to neurological symptoms. The dr was great as soon as I said why I was there and how upset I was she said you shouldn’t do bloods as on injections . She has written on my records 8 weekly I didn’t tell her I SI as she made a comment in toxicity if you have too much . She is testing my thyroid levels as I have under active thyroid and doing full blood count , no vitamin test . But result on meddling nurse .

If you feel up to it another time, perhaps, after thanking her for continuing your injections, query that she had mentioned its toxicity before, saying that as you understand it it's not toxic, that excess is removed in the urine. See what she says. Good to spread awareness and it might open the possibility of her knowing about and supporting your more frequent injections one day!

yes definitely another time . It’s also difficult talking to someone whilst wearing a mask . She also wasn’t coming across as very understanding a little black and white this is what I know and that’s it .
