Extremely fascinating video, thanks so much! I found a very interesting paper on functional b12d after googling whether b12d also affects the endoneurium or only the myelin sheath (never did figure that part out), and ended up just writing a new post : healthunlocked.com/pasoc/po... :)

What a great easy to watch and to understand video.

I found it very interesting,

Thank you so much for posting.

Interesting that he talks about the body causing deliberate degeneration of part of the myelin sheath and axonal membrane closest to an injury as an integral part of the repair process! Wonder is this part of what happens in early treatment decline where severe neurological damage is present.

Also the fact that these "axonal sprouts" grow towards the "distal stump" at 1mm a day goes a lot to explaining how slow nerve repair can be (mentioned near the end of the video).

It's very interesting isn't it. That's why i was trying to understand how this relates to b12d. For example, do our neurons follow Wallerian degeneration as well, assuming serious nerve damage? Once demyelinatiom starts, can the neuron itself also be succeptible to damage? Or is it only the myelin sheath that needs to regenerate, and can it do so via a different mechanism? If the latter, then the rate of healing may not be 1 or 1.5mm per day, perhaps faster than that.

That is a very interesting hypothesis about early treatment decline, sounds totally plausible!

Yeah. Would be great to see a B12-deficiency specific version of this!

That would be amazing to see. Revolutionary.

If you find one, I'll give you 100 Euros 😜

Fascinating! I love that stuff. That guy is great. He explained so much!! I subscribed to him. Thank so much for this.

Interesting and frightening at the same time. In hubbys case it doesn't look good, and quite honestly made me feel sick. What a complex network of nerve fibers once damaged have to go through to regenerate.

I was on youtube and found the following in the recommendations. It's about nerve repair in the peripheral AND central nervous system.

Probably useful to watch Technoid's video first, which I think applies to the peripheral system. I only watched a little bit but it looks very interesting.
