advice please

Hi, I have tested positive for parietal cell antibodies and I also have three autoimmune conditions. For two years I’ve been experiencing tingling in my hands and feet, telling the doctors about my symptoms of headaches etc. B12 has been between 135 and 246. I’m 25 and struggling with fatigue and muscle weakness. They still try to say that they don’t know it’s pernicious anaemia and won’t prescribe injections, one doctor today tried to suggest I had a trapped nerve in my spine…literally feel like I’m at a wall. Can someone please recommend a private GP that would be likely to help and prescribe b12 injections? Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forum, it is posts like this that make me want to cry. You are not alone, people come here everyday with the same story. All I can do is suggest google private Doctors in your area. What county are you in.

Do you eat meat, or are you vegan etc.

Do look more into others posts, you will come across sleepy bunnies replies giving good advise.

Beauty salons.

Try B12 Injections and town where you live.

I hope you can find the help you need.

All Nuffield hospitals have private GPs that you can consult . That’s how I got my diagnosis by way of a positive Intrinsic Factor Antibody test , which my NHS surgery had ton act upon . Since then I have self -injected ( weekly because that’s what I need to keep symptoms at bay I’ll send you information Best wishes .

So sorry to hear of your struggles I know it's exhausting and you shouldn't have to but please open a case through PALS patient advice and liason service they have been amazing for me. Request a second opinion and also state NICE guidelines r.e. further investigations. Hopefully PALS can swiftly help resolve these issues as it looks bad on specific doctors and if still no resolution ask PALS to start a formal complaint to the practice manager and keep fighting for your rights. Good luck!
