Is it a mallow ? I have one full of bud about to flower in the same colour but mine has long staynens that stick out of the middle. It was here when I moved in but have always loved it when in bloom albeit the flowers soon drop. 😢

It's some sort of clematis .A climber .

Flowers last but not very many yet.

It replaced a 'potato plant' didn't realise poisonous to cats.

They obviously avoid things but one managed to get polle on their coat.

Of course locked off.

Never seen a car look so 'green'

He wax sick and then okay.

Other 4 been fine out there .

Anyway went round as so much self seeds.

I knew about other plants poisonous to cats but not that one.

Live and learn.

Aw poor pussy 🙀

I am a cat lover albeit I dont have one now but have a little tabby that visits. I feed the visiting fox's well I say feed more medicate them if injured or have signs of mange. I have got one poor little soul on three legs at the moment. 🦊 One of the little girlie's gets quite close.

The mallow I were talking of is bush that was here when I moved in but it is really stunning when it is in bloom. When it blooms I will see if I can take a picture of it.

At present I am struggling with this heat i'm flat out on my back with the fan on. 🥵 I am that weak I am having trouble walking ! I know many worship the sun but I dread it..

Lovely - thanks, Nackapan. Some of the flowers are really enjoying the sun this year. Some real surprises for me- like the hollyhocks, which have never looked better.

Tough as old boots. the ones growing through the stones on car park are faring much better than those in flower bed closer to house. I never bother to feed them now, or even water them much.

Gorgeous!

My mallow bush is in full bloom and thought I would share a pick of one of the flower's. I love the long stamens on the blooms.
