accord v GEROT LANNACH

Happy Jubilee Celebrations Everyone!

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had problems with the GEROT LANNACH ampoules? I have no problem opening the accord ampoules but the GL's break into a dozen shards, splinters and tiny specks of glass that are really difficult to find. I have a special gadget for opening the ampoules but I am capable of opening the accord's manually as well.

Thanks for your help.

I would contact them and explain situation and ask for replacements,it could be a faulty batch. That should never happen especially if your using a snapper.I’d stop using them if I was you that just fills me with horror.

I use filter needles myself which I buy from medisave,it just gives me peace of mind because I inject so much, you could have a look on the website.

Don’t put yourself at risk using these ampoules.take care

Thanks for your reply Happypensionersclub. It's definitely not a faulty batch as I have had this problem in the past with the same brand. Luckily I have quite a few packs of accor, so I have disposed of the GEROT LANNACH. Thanks for the tip on the filter.Take care.

That's a resl shame. I had gerot and lannoch at the surgery for many months and got on with it well.

I didn't deal with the ampoules .

The NHS has seemingly stopped using the brand??

Accord I have on prescription.

Those ampoules are very easy to snap.

Alot easier thsn Rotexmedics infact.

Thanks Nakapan,Possibly the NHS stopped using them for the same reason.
