Very high B12

Two years ago my B12 was low and my physician prescribed shots. I completed those and also took oral B12 and Complex for a while. My B12 levels were back to normal and I stopped supplementation

In Dec 2021, I had Covid and 2 months later I had routine blood tests along with B12. It was off the chart, over 2000.

My doctor wasn't concerned at all. She said since all your other tests are good, I am not worried.

Google search tells me otherwise. I might wait until June and insist on a retest to see what is happening.

Any comments anybody?

High b12 lrvrks if you've never supplemented csn be an indication of disease.

If your doctor sees no evidence from your bloods of anything else going on thst ys good.

My levels wee over 2000 an probably still are.

So when you say your levels were 'normal ' What were they?

Also did you stop supplementing straight away?

It's seems to be very different to how long b12 stays in your blood

Interesting I a at the time after covid.

A plus is that levels probably helped you to recover .

Are you well now without any b12 ?

Do hope so
