My question is .... If I am supplementing B12 (sublingual, not injections) and my serum/holo-T levels increase, does that mean supplements are effective? Assuming I have 2 week off supplements before the blood test? Or would bloods be skewed due to supplementing despite the 2weeks off?
I don't really know how to word what I'm asking in a simple way! I guess I mean, are those tests still reliable indications of b12 levels if I've been supplementing and have 2 weeks off beforehand?
Sorry if I'm not making sense!
IFAB just came back negative so I'm confident GP will not offer injections as he hasn't do so already. Thanks

Agreed, I just looked at some old labs of mine taken when I was paying out of pocket to see a Functional Medicine /MD for severe fatigue. My blood level of B12 was over 1,000 and my mean Corpuscular Volume was 107 (a classic sign of B12 deficiency) and doctor did not catch that i needed injections.
