One of many online German pharmacies that members use is— versandapo.de.

We mostly use Panpharma B12 depot “Depot “ indicates that the form of B12 is Hydroxocobalamin, 1mg x 1ml ampoules . It’s the kind that is used by the NHS

This is a very reliable online pharmacy , Strictly controlled bt the German health authorities . The site is only in German , so you might need to use Google Chrome or a translation app. You can pay using PayPal or Bank transfer . I recommend registering . Then you are given 200 “plus points” , and also 1point for every euro that you spend . When you have acquired 250 points , you can use them against your next purchase . 250 points represent €2.50 The courier ,DHL , costs €9.00 , no matter how many you buy. They sometimes run out , but will be back in stock in a day or two . ( I think it’s a good sign if they sometimes run out . The B12 is always fresh then .)

The reference number you need for that Panpharma B12 depot is 16199653 . This will take you straight to the item .

There are other brands

1) Hevert b12 depot 1mg x 2ml ampoules

2) Pascoe B12 depot 1.5mg x 1 ml ampoules .

Best wishes

It would be interesting to know how much B12 is sent to Britain and other countries. I do notice the more and more people are adviced on this website to go down self inject route there is always increasing difficulty getting b12 ampoules mainly due to sold out or the change regarding Brexit. (I would always advise to go this route)

Unfortunately the NHS stance on b12 injections making people go to tablets will only increase the need.

Let's hope that increased volume of needing ampoules from Germany do not result in a change in supply.

I have just tried to order B12 from versandapo.de but trying to start checkout it says address must be in Germany, won't accept postcode. Is there a way around this? 😟

i remember this happening tome, when filling out the address form . I saw that “ Germany “ was already in the

space for the country . Once i had changed that to U.K. or as they might have U.K. on their drop-down list of countries “VEREINIGTES KÖNIGREICH GROSSBRITANNIENS UND NORD IRLAND “ all was well and my post code was accepted . Hope that this helps .

Thanks wedgewood , & my apologies as I had posted again very soon after, to say that I had found previous advice from you on a post about this, registered with them first, and that had fixed the issue, thanks so much.I hope it comes quickly now!

Normally it takes about 4 working days .

Well now you’ve registered , you’ve been given 200 pluspoints as they call them . You will get 1point for every euro that you spend . When you have 250 they are worth €2.50 and you can use them against your next purchase.

Yes that's good, I love a bit of a loyalty discount! Did my first order from MarienBrunn, but the discounted price, & now the points, have drawn me to Versandapo!

Ignore my previous comment, I found another post on this, and your suggestion to register with them to sort the location issue. All done & worked, thank you.

Hi I used Amazon Germany last Wednesday it translated it all into English easier for me lol they came yesterday so not too long to wait, I was a bit dubious about using them but it turned out fine. so let the injecting begin! It’s good to be in control and not the mercy of the gp.

Yes amazon.de is fine , but does not stock the Panpharma B12 depot 1mg x 1ml ampoules , which are popular because of price and the fact that the 1 mg dosage of Hevert comes in 2ml of saline .

Oh I didn’t know.. good to know. Does it affect the effectiveness of the b12 then ?

No , the extra saline does not affect its effectiveness , but many people would rather inject 1ml of liquid than 2ml . Also Hevert is more expensive than Panpharma
