Fir almost six months I do subcutaneous injection and I didn't have any problem in the last 23 injection but this time looks like something is wrong and after seven days I still feel injection spot is bumpy but to somehow diminished in size but not going away and skin on that spot bruised. I didn't change any factor if injection but I don't know what happened. Is it possible I hit vein. I use half inch gague 29 barrel 1 ml syringe cyanocobalamin. I do rotate injection spots and probably three months ago I was injected somewhere close to there. Could it be just inflammation due to vein hit. My last injection before this was on 12 days frequency.

almost certainly down to hitting a vein - does take a while for bruising to clear.

I do sc and have IM b12 It happens at times. So if its improving lump diminishing and bruising fading it will heal

My husband injects sc insulin 4 x a day and does get this at times too.

Avoid injecting the area until healed.

I've had bruising at times with b12 but not lumps.

Huge sore bruised lump after first covid jab though.

So tissue inflammation or in your case hit a vein so small bleed as mentioned .

Just keep an eye on it and get it checked out if concerned .
