Hi everyone. I ordered Hydroxycobalomin for SI from the above pharmacy which is in Leipzig Germany. Although being in a list of different pharmacies given to me by a person on the Facebook page, I am a bit...ok...a lot...anxious about using them . Everything is really professional and was not too expensive. My friend who is German is over there at the moment so I e-mailed her to check up on them and also did many checks on Google. She says they definitely seem to be genuine. Now I'm trying to get the courage to start. I've not been too well recently and last Saturday I finished my Ferrous Fumerate tablets. A 3 month supply. The doctor won't give me any more and says I have to wait a month to get blood tests done. These last 2 days my leg cramps are coming back at night, aching feeling in my legs at times and pain back in my ribs and spine. Now I'm very very anxious and especially as next week I have to go away for over a week. I've sent in an " askmygp " request to get a face to face with a doctor as I'm sure my iron levels are not up to where they should be considering how low they were in the first place. Just wondering if anyone on here has a) heard of the pharmacy, and b) had any similar problems with stopping Ferrous Fumerate tablets? I would appreciate hearing from you. It is also possible to overdose on Iron so best not to supplement until a blood test has been done. If you don't get any joy from your GP you could also ask the dispensing chemist for result. It may be that the symptoms you have are from B12 deficiency rather than iron deficiency.

Thankyou Gambit62. That's good advice. I'll wait and see what the doctor says. It will probably be tomorrow before I hear from them. Things are getting very difficult to access at our health Centre's now.

I don't understand why you have to wait a month for bloods?

Ask your Gp?

I'm on ferrous fumerate and initially had bloods every 3 months ,testing iron snd ferritin plus fbc.

Now prescribed a low maintenence dose of 210mg every other day and bloods 4 monthly.

Thankyou for your reply. Your treatment makes more sense to me. I was puzzled about the way this gp us doing this too. I thought that the gp would have tested right away at the end of the 3 months as otherwise how would they know what my levels are. I'm hoping to speak to a different gp tomorrow and will ask about it. Because of my low levels when I started I have been on 630mg daily. I could barely function at all and it took at least a month to begin to pick up but I wasn't able to get out. I just don't understand them at all. It's so upsetting.

All the German pharmacies that can send medicine by post or sell online are regulated by the German government. This green box shows that the website is legitimate and registered with the department for medication. I wouldn’t worry.
