I presume it's vit D3 you're taking? What dosage? For how long? I take mine in a glucosamine tablet and haven't had any trouble (and I get nauseous with almost everything). Surprised you can tolerate the iron, but not the vit D.

Sorry you are having such a rotten time Andy. I had problems with the bright blue capsules and also the first 2 lots of the shelf, then ended up on the cheapest ones of all and been on them for a few years now and it's great. Hope you find ones to suit. All the best 🌞

Hiya!

Several members of my family have problems with Vitamin D deficiency so I know the symptoms are quite similar to those of B12d and are similarly crippling. Drs seem to be less ignorant on this than they are on B12 so I suggest, if you can't take the tablets, that you match the amount from the spray to the amount you would get from the tablets at the rate the Dr has given you.

3 sprays of the BetterYou DLux deliver 3000IU (75μg) of vitamin D plus 75μg of vitamin K2.

If you want reassurance then put the information from the tablets on here and the mathematicians on the forum will help you check it! 😁

The DLux D3 + K2 spray is better for you than the plain D3 as K2 helps prevent arterial calcification as it works with the D3 to ensure that calcium is directed out of the arteries and into the bones where it helps improve bone density.

Without enough vitamin K2 calcification within the arteries can occur, increasing the risk of heart disease.

As K2 has not shown any toxic effects there is no recommended upper intake limit so you should be OK to use the DLux spray to supply your full D3 requirements.

The only caveat to this is if you are taking warfarin as an anticoagulant - in this case you should only take the plain D3 as the K2 is antagonistic to the way anticoagulants work and these are more important if you need them.

I'm sure others will have more ideas but I hope this helps for a start.

If the Vitamin D supplementation does the trick, in time you might be able to reduce your B12 jabs but keep going with them for now as you should only change one thing at a time so you can tell if that is the problem.

Very informative Denise . I understand now about the k2 . Yes the symptoms seem to overlap .both my daughter and I are deficient so will see what her levels are this week and go from there with her . X
