Frozen shoulder

Been diagnosed with frozen shoulder, which has been a b.....dy nuisance. Yesterday had B12 (good arm) and three hours later vision went and electric shock down bad arm.

Was told to go to hospital. Well a Seven hour wait to see a nurse ! . Did test eye sight fine, blood pressure sky high !

Anyway they didn't seem concerned just the High Blood pressure. Told to see doctor. I was very relaxed but amazed at the result. Got home had coffee and did B.P. 137/83.

Went to bed had a really good nights sleep and no pain in frozen shoulder.

I am just so frustrated with how the B12 can have such and effect on the body.

The one good thing was I didn't panick and was quite relaxed

Roll on the day when I get out of bed, throw my arms in the air and say I'm recovered (for NOW) ha ha !

I had a terribly painful shoulder , which was not actually diagnosed by my GP as any particular condition . Went to a very good physiotherapist who diagnosed BURSITIS . I had previously just taken ibuprofen for 6 weeks without any relief what so ever . Strangely , this diagnosis was followed on the same day as my first B12 loading dose for P.A. . Yes , miraculously , my shoulder was totally better after the 2nd jab . I then found out that in USA b12 injections are often used to treat bursitis . Perhaps you had bursitis? Glad to hear that it’s gone now ,because the pain is horrible . Best wishes .

Thanks wedgewood, I think its bursitis as I've had rash on the shoulder. It all started when I was given b12 injection I think it was too high up. I mentioned this to dr. He didn't say no or yes, just the effect of b12 on muscles. but did notice the same nurse injected me lower in the arm this time, so perhaps the doctor might have mentioned this to her. It's one of those things that can happen. I will be glad to have full movement back and I definitely think the b12 is helping, why would I have got so much relief last night if not. I just sympathise with everybody whose going through this for the first time.

As for the high blood pressure I normally have banana before I go, so that was my fault.

Many thanks

I’ve have a brachial plexus injury and dyskinesia and had a rotator cuff injury and had terrible inflammation and bursitis in my shoulder which by coincidence has got a tiny bit better as has the Pes Anserine bursitis in my knee after my initial loading doses. Asked the doctor for more injections but said I have to wait for the next dose.

Sorry to hear you have multiple problems, I can sympathise with you, the pain gets you down. Have you thought about self injecting ? I have got supplies now so can please myself. Alternatively you could try high strength b12 oral and keep your 🤞 that you just might be able to absorb a tiny amount .

It sure does it’s been nearly a year since I had my accident. Only slightly better but now realise it may be worse due to my iron anemia and pernicious anaemia and maybe the menopause? just started hrt today! I’m hoping something will work lol. I have tried researching doing b12 injections but I am just not sure what to buy? What needles ect as you need different ones for drawing it up and injecting don’t you....and ordering the b12 from Germany? I have tried the spray but it hasn’t seemed to help.

Oh my heart goes out to you on many things1. The menopause... HRT made me sick

2. I read that what ever it is in shoulder can take up to 3 YEARS to get better

3. If you read wedgewood replies she has informed several on how to purchase from germany.

(My stepson got them for me)

Goodluck with it all
