Even after reading all the posts and advice (for which I am truly grateful) I'm still confused by Folate / B12 deficiency. Can you have a folate deficiency (only) without having a B12 deficiency?

Folate Definciency
I assume so I had a b12 deficiency without a folate deficiency
They are tested together and jts really common to be deficient in both.
B12 shoukd be treated first
Absolutely.
If you don't eat a lot of folate-containing foods then you can be deficient. It's not that common as folate is found in a lot of foods.
Grand daughter's hair kept falling out, she had folate deficiency, b12 fine. Love of mc Donald's , fast foods and alcohol. Typical youngster.. bless them. 🙄🤪
Having coeliac disease also I do not convert folate so take methyl folate which makes all the difference, many people do not feel better as they don’t realise that could be the same for them along with the b12
Yes I am folate deficiency but my b12 is fine the symptoms are pretty much the same just folate I take a tablet of folic acid a day not working at present but only been 2 days.
