Could my rash be due to new iron pills

Hiya all. Iv been si eod for over 6 months but recently found out my ferritin was at 18. So I started taking blood builder tablets. Recently iv started having the most horrific itchy skin with white bumps. Can anyone advise on this please x

suggest that you speak to a pharmacist. It may be that you are reacting to something in the supplements ... or it could be totally unrelated.Also, whilst ferritin is generally a good indicator of iron status it doesn't tell the whole story and there have been some cases of iron poisoning as a result of treating purely on the basis of ferritin levels - you really need to get an iron panel done.

If its the only new thing introduced why not stop it for a while and see.

Thers so many forms to take.

Gp may be helpful with this??

I use spartone and ferrous fumerate 210

I'm sensitive to things but okay on both of these in low doses.

Basic multivits usually have 14mg in too
