I guess my question is how many mills can I inject daily.. because isn't it just excreted? Being water soluble also how much do you actually get from the injection? I'm not taking folate because every time I do it makes me extremely anxious it seems.. thank you for any help

How much b12 is inside of these injections, is the question.
I inject 2 MLs with has 1000 MCG of b12 in it. I need this daily just to feel normal.
There's other formulas which have more b12 in less liquid.
It's true that your body can only absorb but so much at a time and the extra gets excreted, but that's just a reason why I only inject once a day. But there are people on this forum who do multiple daily injections when they feel really bad.
Have you tried methylfolate? Maybe it won't trigger your anxiety. You need other vitamins for your body to properly use the b12. Do you have any other vitamin deficiencies?
Good reply but would add a caution about using methylfolate and methylcobalamin together - it would be a very rare case if you needed that much methyl and over methylation can be a problem. It usually manifests itself as a headache from hell that nothing will touch until it is out of your system. Some people have reported jittery anxiety problems with using methylcobalamin and find hydroxocobalamin is better.

I'd be surprised if the folic acid is causing this result, unless by way of working with the methylcobalamin to make it more effective and therefore bringing on the effect, rather than causing it directly.
Do whatever works for you (providing you are keeping your methylcobalamin solution sterile) but be aware that hydroxocobalamin and folic acid is a more usually accepted combination.
Also be aware that there are a few people who need to use folinic acid instead so there are other options available as well!
Have you had your magnesium levels checked? Low mag can cause jitters. It would be good to get blood tests done for this, potassium, iron and Vit D, as well as folate. If you can, get the tests done while you actually have the jittery symptoms to get a more meaningful result.
