Hi I've had my sharps bin collected and forgot which kind it was does anyone have a link or can describe which type I need to buy? I'd preferably like a smaller one this time had a big round one before.

I got my first one from Amazon. Now the local council replace my full ones with new ones.

Brilliant thanks, does it just have to be yellow?

I wouldn't risk going for an alternative colour.

Yes. Yellow. Clinical waste

I get mine from Morrisons chemist.

£1.70 had a phone number on and they collect it.

Not sure where you are based, but my GP just replaces it with a new one for free, no questions asked.

Thas handy. .Not all do that or indeed supply needles ect either. As I'm paying for prescriptions it's cheaper ti buy them.

My husband has never been issued a yellow sharos box. and does 4 insulin injections a day.

Everything else is supplied. Odd how it varies.

Oh! I didn’t realise I was that lucky then. Thought it would be same everywhere.

I got my first one from the surgery, it was a small yellow one. When it was full I phoned the local council like I do when my dads insulin needle one is full, they collected and replaced it with another yellow one that was twice the size. So as long as it’s yellow I don’t think it matters.
