Whenever I wake up from sleep I feel as if my whole body is stiff and feel like I've too put an extra effort to get up

I don't feel like moving as soon as I open my eyes and whenever I stretch my body all my bones make cracking sound

Why is it so ? Has anyone else experienced this ?

Good morning Akashrajput. That could be caused by any number of things, your mattress ,your pillows tension or just gas in your joints we are all sufferers like that as we get older. You could try a herbal/ homeopathic remedy when you go to bed to just relax your muscles when you go to sleep then when you do waken think of how a cat reacts when it wakens from a sleep and slowly copy how they stretch out, they have a great system for getting their bodies active again.best of luck

Akashrajput, by extra effort to get up do you literally mean cracking sound of bones or is that a metaphore? Do you mean it just takes a lot to muster the physical energy to get going? If that is the case, THEN YES!!! It used to take me hours to get energy to get out of bed. No! not depression but literal lack of energy despite getting a lot of sleep. The b12 injections have helped tremendously but it has taken months. I've seen your blood work. You have a lot going on. A lot more than I do and a lot that would make you sick. I would seriously keep pushing for more blood tests. I know your area is slammed with the current covid crisis, but see what you can do. Also make sure you get the tests that will check for the things they suggest on this site: vit D, folate, iron (transferrin), thyroid levels (tsh) , hormones, and I would even add Lupis, cortisol (a tricky one to test).

i didn't have pain in my joints, but my muscles get really tight. the daily injections don't solve that entirely, but the daily injections did improve my energy and reduced the muscle tightness. It took about 3 months. I'm still not 100 percent, but the injections help enough to keep me working and off my back. Keep pushing for more tests and answers. what was your vit d, iron, thyroid, cortisol and folate levels? vit D can make you extremely tired and if you have several deficiencies, it can really take you down. Hang in there.
