I'm looking for a good technical guide on diagnosing and managing B12 deficiency to give my GP. I want him to be better informed on managing my case which is complicated by high levels of methylmalonic acid.
The PASOC guides are not technical enough for this particular purpose. The best I found is this article. Is there anything else like it I could use, perhaps published in the last couple of years?

First of all - thanks for finding that BMJ paper. You can't actually access it from the BMJ site without access. You used to be able to get it from a Mexican university, but they removed it. I'm so glad there's another way to access it.
As you say, it is a bit dated.
There are these guidelines from the British Committee on Standards in Haematology. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi... Quite good, especially as the mention antibody negative PA.
Then there's this copy of BMJ Education which is very recent and has a three-page article on B12 that I think is pretty good. bmj.com/bmj/section-pdf/102...
If you want some ammo to show him that some people need more frequent jabs, here is another BMJ bit from a retired doc who is in that situation. bmj.com/content/369/bmj.m13...
