Have any of you had swollen neck glands with PA?

Swollen neck glands
That's normally a sign of an infection.
Hi,
I don't have a confirmed PA diagnosis.
I had spells of swollen neck glands prior to starting b12 treatment which I now wonder if it was due to the impact of B12 deficiency on my immune system.
Have you talked to your GP about the swollen glands?
Yes i had them from Dec- Feb. They said i got them from stress but they wouldnt go away. Took 3mths for them to slightly reduce in size but had to have bloods and ultrasounds to confirm it wasnt anything else. Was very odd as ive never had that before. Usually common with infections and immune responses though.
I get them too but no explanation could be given, other than that I had glandular fever when I was young.
I get swollen neck glands, I have had this often ever since I was young, my PA diagnosis two years ago and frequent injections don’t seem to have made any difference. I don’t think it’s anything to do with b12 deficiency.
I have PA and I get swollen neck and other glands. My endo thinks it could be polyglandular endocrine dysfunction.
Yep, I have swollen glands frequently. My Dr doesn't seem concerned even tho I am.
Good morning pjmartin1121I read your reply about swollen neck glands. Me too I keep having them like on and off in both sides of my neck. The right is worse than the left one. I also feel like my ears are blocked. It has been going since end May now. Do you have blocked ears too with swollen glands?
Saw my GP who sent me for an ultrasound, results came back normal.
I have had 2 lymph node biopsies, 1 in my neck and 1 supraclavicular, because I have several slightly enlarged nodes that do not ever get smaller. (Some of them have been there for 10+ years.) Both biopsies showed they were of a benign nature but it is still not known why they are there. They hypothesized "old infection." (Note that these nodes are all around 1 cm and they do not change in size. If they are larger than that, or if the size changes, they definitely need evaluated.)
Think low B12 can mean more frequent infections
I don't usually get swollen glands or tonsillitis now as I'm on a gluten free diet
My gland on the right side of my neck was massive for about 10 years. It completely went away about 6 months after taking B12 shots regularly. I've been on injections for over a year and it has come back. I believe for me, it was the b12 deficiency.
