The first ampules that I ordered from Apohealth were 2ml but the last ones are 1 ml. Is there any difference in strength or is 2ml more dilute. I am injecting daily. Thank you for any answers!

You probably ordered the Hevert ampoules. They are 1 mg in 2 mL, so more dilute that the Rotexmedica that are 1 mg in 1mL.

As long as you inject the full amount from each you'll be getting the same dose.

At the cost of repeating myself. Some time ago I believe I reported that I had ordered from vitamin B12online.com.

The delivery was prompt

6 ampules of Hydroxobalamin acetate. 10mg in 2ml

This being ten times the recommended dose in 2mls

Or five times the dose in 1ml.

I just feel that people (including me) should be aware that not all ampules carry the same strengths or dilution

These were Dodevifort Medlac B12

Yes, we know that some people sell B12 in multi-use vials. We do not recommend them because they are much, much, more dangerous that single use ampoules.

I'm not sure I'd be keen on using Vietnamese B12. Nor do I think injecting 10 mg at a time would be worthwhile as more than 90% of that will be peed out in the first few hours.

I totally agree. That is why I made my comment. Thank you for your usual good advice.

When I was in my clinical training (many years ago), it was taught that the maximum volume to be injected IM was 1 ml in the deltoid of the arm, 2ml in the thigh, and 5 ml in the gluteal area. Something to keep in mind since you are doing daily injections. Less frequent 2 ml injections in the arm are probably not going to cause any major problems though, unless you have tiny arms.
