Does anyone have symptoms much worse on one side than the other? I have a tingling and numbness on one side of my face but not the other and my gait is worse on my right side. Could this still be B12?

Numb on one side of face
Generally speaking B12 deficiency tends to be symmetric - it's about underlying processes that go on in your cells so isn't something that you would expect to be assymmetric.
It sounds as if there may be something else going on. Have you managed to speak to your doctor and would they give you a referal to a neurologist?
When my numbness symptoms began they were only on the right side of my face and hand and foot. Then after about a two or three weeks the numbness moved to the left side.
You definitely need to be checked for other things but if they are ruled out first THEN the answer is possibly - I had, and still sometimes get, a "stinging nettle" sensation across my left shoulder and my left hand used to itch more than the right one. My forehead gets a tickle slightly right of centre. Sometimes one arm used to go dead and other odd things on one side at time.
No, B12 deficiency tends to be felt on hands and feet. This could be something else but it wouldn't harm to use a supplement to rule it out.
I had numbness on the left hand side of my face and my whole left side was much worse that the right.
Before being diagnosed with PA i had numbness on the right side of my face and nose and right hand and foot along with many other symptoms. It was never on the left side. It cleared up after the b12 shots eventually.
