PayPal?

Could somebody tell me whether B12 suppliers in Germany accept PayPal? If so, is payment made in €, to be converted to £ at some point?

Is there any indication that supplies will continue uninterrupted after December 2020? Are we in a position whereby after December 2020 customs duty may be imposed?

I’m not sure about PayPal but when I order from versandapo I use amazon pay.

Regarding your second point, I might be wrong but I don’t think all trade deals have been finalised with the EU and I’d guess until they are we don’t know for sure.

OK Thanks for your reply, which seems quite reasonable. Guess I’ll just have two wait and see

Amazon pay better to use as you dont have to type in your address.

Gives less problems with ordering from Germany.

As JanD236 says negotiations have not been completed yet with trading deals in the EU. So hopefully still be able to get it but will perhaps pay more.

Thanks. I don’t know anything about Amazon pay. I think I’ll go with PayPal at least initially.

I used paypal and the price was converted to £ immediately so I knew exactly how much it was and didn’t have to wait to it came through as a statement.

No idea about your 2nd question 😬

Thanks for your help. PayPal seems to be the way to go.

PayPal and Amazon Pay seem pretty equal. They both do the conversion from € to £ automagically.

Until this useless government actually negotiates a trade deal (I thought they had an 'oven-ready deal) we won't know for sure. However we can be sure of a few things.

It's unlikely that we will have to pay duty. Under WTO regulations there is no duty on vitamins or injectable medicines. So even a no-deal disaster shouldn't affect that.

We will have to pay VAT to the UK government. This is normally collected by the courier, and is often smaller than the fee they charge you for collecting it.

During the first few months of 2021 it's likely that anything trying to get from the EU to the UK will suffer enormous delays, because the idiot government, despite having spent £4 billion preparing for it, still hasn't got the infrastructure in place. (which comes as no surprise as the person in charge of it had no idea that the port of Dover was important).

So I shall be ordering a year's worth of B12 (100 ampoules) in October/November.

Thanks. Your intention of ordering soon seems very sensible considering the current circumstances. I’ll probably do the same.

Buy it from amazon.de

Thanks for the info. Is that from the UK?

How does the cost compare with buying from a German medical company?

Amazon.de is the German amazon site, lthough you should be able to use your normal login details just the same. Be careful, I ended up signing up for Prime twice when I logged in to a foreign Amazon, lol

I couldn't get the link to work though.

Thanks, but I am not clear as to whether I should order the B12 stuff through the German Amazon site, rather than direct with a German pharmacy?

Sorry for the confusion. I searched high and low the other night and I could not find any B12 on amazon.de. I ordered from VersandApo.

I don't know which browser you use but if you visit the site using Google Chrome, you should see a translate button t the top, and you can ask it to translate the site to English. Much easier to read then. Once you place your order, select PayPal for your payment method, and then log in to complete the purchase. It should show you a conversion of the mount in your Paypal account. Here is a direct link to the 100 pack, not so easy to find, lol versandapo.de/vitamin-b12-d...

My order cost E69 with shipping. Hope that helps

I have ordered from this site before and they were very good.
