Hi guys just wondering is the hydroxocobalaminacetat the same as the uk hydroxocobalamin? Once again my shitty doctor won’t budge from 12 weeks, so much so she won’t even give me it one day before then!! It’s disgusting how these people get away with being doctors who apparently care for u! So I’m going to self inject inbetween and just wondering is it safe? And all the same stuff getting injected

Yes it’s the same. Are you looking at the vitamin B12 depot Rotexmedica 1,000ug/1ml that’s sold by German pharmacies? I understand that these are highly regulated and therefore should be safe. I order my B12 from versandapo.de.

Yes , it’s the same. Not to worry ! It’s how it’s expressed on the German packets of Hydroxocobalamin ampoules . You’ve got the right stuff ! Best wishes .

Yes I also now use it . I initially was dubious.I was reassured by this on here too. The Depot Rotexmedica seemingly also produces Accord that I have on prescription in the UK.

The Patient Information Leaflet for Accord B12 is available here:

mhraproducts4853.blob.core....

Says manufactured by Panpharma GmbH in Germany.

That for Mercury Pharma (Advanz) is here:

mhraproducts4853.blob.core....

Says manufactured by Delpharm Tours in France. (Yes, does sound like a holiday company. :-) )

Yes the French pharmaceutical company called Panpharma has taken over the German Rotexmedica, and are in the process of changing the name. But the Rotexmedica B12 ampoules are still manufactured using the old name .
