B12 injections

Hi just phoned my doctors surgery - on hold for 31 minutes and when i tried to make appointment was told i have to email nurse who will check my records and see if I am eligible !!! I have been having them for many many years and now they are casting doubt on whether that was necessary !!! I had a lung operation and went into surgery to have stitches removed early in May and the nurse went to ask a doctor if I could have B12 injection a week early as it would save me coming to surgery again and doctor agreed that it was necessary and I had it then !!! Now have to wait for nurse to let m know !!!

This is like them! telling us we store B12 in the liver for a year so our injections can be stopped while virus is rife .....if that is true, why do we need injections several times a year. ...as I always say wouldn't it be great, a once a year injection that worked.... 🤔

It's bonkers and I'm so sorry for you. It's a scary position to be in, let alone when you have just had a major operation. Please keep making the effort to get yours. x
