Exhausted after a shot

Hi there,

I have taken my shot on Wednesday, and since then I have been feeling way worse than I did before. After my first 6 shots, it took me around two months to feel back to normal (my symptoms only came after the shots) and now it seems it went back to the beginning. Today I definitely felt it was getting the best of me.

Is there anything else that can make me feel better at all?

How often do you take your injections? Sounds like you need them more frequently. You may be getting depleted and then your body has to deal with the flood that comes after you get an injection.

Every three months. I got my loading dose in January and this was my first one after that.

I used to get that way - but then my injections were increased to every 8 weeks and I feel fine after them. Maybe if it’s only every 3 months your body can’t deal with the sudden change? If you look at t he british national formulary (the guide GPs use) it says you should have injections every 8 weeks if you have any neurological symptoms and those include feeling weak.
