I know it’s only natural to come here and vent frustration and disappointment and seek help or empathy. I have also had many negative experiences with my GP surgery over the years. I know however that prior to my due injection date I get very anxious and in the current climate that can be heightened by continuous negative messages on social media and forums. As a balance I wanted to say that I got my 8 weekly injection today, I called when we were first told to stay inside back in March and said I was concerned. They reassured me they would do it if I was symptom free and would call me the day before to check. They rang yesterday, asked some questions about any symptoms and gave instructions of where to go in surgery car park and what would happen. It went just as they said. The receptionist and nurse were polite and friendly (yes surreal times indeed) and confirmed they would see me again in 8 weeks.
The only downside was i got allocated the pinchy stingy nurse (as I fondlymbut only Internally call them)🤣
