Hi Have your CRP ( inflammation levels ) been checked ?
My levels all came back fine but I experience thus slot. Going gluten free has helped !
You need to have a test for h pylori. You can have this fine at your GP in the UK. You also ought to have a calprotectin test. Either GP or gastro can do this. It is a specific test for inflammation of the gut and is much more specific than CRP. My CRP was rock bottom but my calprotectin more than 4 times the top of range.
In people with PA there is a lack of stomach acid which can allow pathogenic bacteria to grow in the gut causing awful symptoms. It can also cause bacteria to move to the small intestine and cause SIBO. Your gastro can check for this too depending on your symptoms.
They are all treatable but the symptoms can be worrying. Get checked is my advice.
Thank you for taking you time and giving advice ,i appreciate !
