Had my 4th loading dose injection today, cant wait to finish them so i can start on my folic acid. Been told since last June I had costocondritis until i saw a different gp who decided to test me for B12 deficiency among other things. Also my bnp blood test came back abnormal and my rheumatology one has come back positive
waiting for an echocardiogram and a ct scan. How do you find out if your pernicious anemia is neurological ? I have had nerve problems for years which i take gabapentin 3 times a day.

A neurologist should be able to get a good guess as to whether your neuropathy is caused by B12. But there’s not a lot more than they could do that they’re not already doing.
